COLLECTION AND USE OF INFORMATION
Dlg8 keeps personal information of its users, clients, and job applicants.
Clients
Dlg8 keeps a record of all client inquiries related to job outsourcing. This information is stored to ensure proper documentation, facilitate timely follow-ups, and maintain efficient communication throughout the process.
Dlg8 keeps the following information:
1. Name of Client (Corporate/Business/Association/Partnership Name);
2. Name of Contact Person of the client;
3. Email Address;
4. Phone Number:
5. Requirements of the client;
6. Address of client.
Job Applicants
Dlg8’s Recruitment Department collects all job applicant's information in relation to job placement.
The following information are kept by Dlg8:
1. Name of job applicant;
2. Email Address:
3. Phone Mobile Number;
4. Information contained in the Curriculum Vitae/Resume of the job applicant.
Third Parties
Dlg8 may also obtain information from third-party providers. This may include data from current clients, affiliates regarding potential clients, and employees concerning job applicants. Dlg8 reserves the right to collect and use information received from these sources.
USE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION PROVIDED
Clients
Dlg8 will use personal information provided by clients solely for the purpose of delivering the services they have availed. This information will be exclusively for Dlg8’s use in connection with these services. If the client decides to discontinue or terminate the service, the information will be removed and deleted from Dlg8’s database within two (2) years from the end, non-renewal, or termination of the contract, unless the client requests otherwise.
Job Applicants
Dlg8 will use personal information provided by job applicants for employment-related purposes only. All information shared will remain privileged and confidential.
If the job applicant is hired, their information will be retained by Dlg8 as part of their employee records and kept for two (2) years following the termination or cessation of employment, unless otherwise requested by the employee.
If the job applicant is not selected for employment, their information, including the Curriculum Vitae/Resume, will be kept by Dlg8 for potential future job opportunities. The information will be deleted from Dlg8’s records after two (2) years, unless the job applicant requests otherwise.
Information collected from clients, applicants, or users may also be used by Dlg8 to contact the individual through various means, including telephone, email, SMS, automated calls or messages, or other electronic methods.
Dlg8 reserves the right to transfer this information to another country in the following circumstances:
Data or information received by Dlg8 will only be shared with clients or third-party users when express consent is obtained from the client, user, or job applicant.
For Legal, Regulatory, Law enforcement, and Other Legal Purposes
Dlg8 may disclose information collected from its clients, users, and job applicants in response to legal processes and requests, including subpoenas, court orders, executive orders, or other directives from judicial or quasi-judicial bodies.
Dlg8 may also use the provided information to enforce its policies and agreements, with the approval of the individual involved.
Additionally, Dlg8 may use the information if there are valid claims or allegations that content infringes upon the rights of third parties, or if there is suspected unlawful, illegal, or unethical activity. This may also apply when establishing or exercising Dlg8’s legal rights or defending against legal claims.
DELETING OR OBTAINING COPY OF INFORMATION
All information obtained from clients, job applicants, or users will be automatically deleted after two (2) years from the acquisition of the service, termination of the service, job application, or termination of the applicant's contract. The provider of the information may also request the deletion or removal of their data from Dlg8’s records and database at any time.
If you wish to have your personal information removed or deleted from our records, you may submit a request to our Data Privacy Officer at dpo@dlg8.com.ph. The Data Privacy Officer will handle your request confidentially and respond within thirty (30) days of receipt.
Any deletion requests will be processed only to the extent that the information is no longer necessary for the legitimate business purposes of Dlg8 or for legal or contractual record-keeping requirements worldwide.
The individual providing the information may also request a copy of their data held by Dlg8 by contacting our Data Privacy Officer.
INFORMATION SECURITY, STORAGE AND RETENTION
Personal information collected by Dlg8 will be stored and transmitted through a secure, cloud-native digital system, eliminating the need for local files and reducing potential risks. All stored and in-transit personal data will be encrypted to ensure continuous protection.
Additionally, Dlg8 employs tools that comply with stringent privacy standards and data protection protocols.
For clients, personal data will be retained for as long as necessary to provide the requested services, and thereafter for a period of up to two (2) years, unless otherwise requested, in compliance with the laws of the jurisdiction where Dlg8’s offices are registered.
For job applicants, personal data will be retained for as long as necessary for the job application process, and thereafter for up to two (2) years, unless otherwise requested, in compliance with the laws of the jurisdiction where Dlg8’s offices are registered.
INFORMATION QUALITY
Dlg8 is committed to ensuring the accuracy and quality of the information collected from the provider. If there are any changes, corrections, amendments, or requests to delete or remove information from the database, the requester must notify our Data Privacy Officer at dpo@dlg8.com.ph.
TRACKING TECHNOLOGIES
Dlg8 uses cookies to remember settings and information for users, clients, and job applicants, as well as for authentication purposes. Users, clients, and job applicants can manage cookie preferences at the browser level. While the website can still be used if cookies are rejected, some features or areas may be limited.
Dlg8 may also use tracking technologies such as cookies, beacons, tags, and scripts to analyze trends, administer the website, monitor user movements, and gather demographic information about our user base. We may receive reports based on the use of these technologies.
Additionally, Dlg8 collects certain information automatically, which is stored in our log files. This information may include the internet protocol address (IP Address), browser type, internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, operating system, date/time stamp, and clickstream data. This data is linked to personal information for the purpose of logging site activities.
USE OF NON-PERSONAL INFORMATION
Testimonials or feedback provided to Dlg8 may be used for training and/or marketing purposes. Dlg8 reserves the right to use these testimonials or feedback at its sole discretion. By providing feedback, you acknowledge and agree that it may be shared with third parties through social media and other related platforms or applications.
All proprietary rights over the information, data, and opinions shared through testimonials, complaints, or feedback are considered relinquished and transferred to Dlg8.
